Every note in Finn is a live document Finn can read and rewrite. Open one, talk to it the way you’d brief a smart assistant, and watch the page change in front of you. The conversation and the document are the same thing.
Most apps make you copy an assistant’s reply out of a chat window and paste it somewhere it’ll survive. Finn skips that. When you talk to a note, the answer lands in the note — cleanly formatted, ready to keep.
Tell Finn to “turn this rough idea into a plan,” “tighten the wording,” or “add the dates,” and it rewrites the note in place — preserving your intent, producing a clean final version, never a running log of edits.
When a note is open, the whole conversation is scoped to it. Finn edits the page you're looking at rather than spawning new ones.
Quick-capture a thought, paste something messy, or start from a blank page. Notes group themselves by recency — Today, Yesterday, This Week, Earlier.
The chat opens pinned to that note. Ask for a rewrite, an outline, a summary, a checklist, the missing details — whatever the page needs.
Finn applies the change directly to the note instead of just describing it. Incremental edits like “make it shorter” or “add the dates” stay in the same note — it won’t spin off a duplicate.
Edit the text yourself any time, or keep the conversation going. Everything you keep lands on your shelf automatically.
Ask for a packing list or a to-do and Finn formats it as a checklist. It adds and ticks items but won’t quietly delete what you wrote.
Finn rewrites the full body to a tidy final version every time — no diff markers, no “here’s what I changed” clutter left in the note.
When a note clearly points at a specific day, Finn tags it with a date so time-sensitive notes can surface later in Finn Actions.
Headings, bold, and bullets render in the note. Finn matches the tone and length you’re already using instead of padding it out.
In Finn Chat the same note tools can pull from your calendar, inbox, and accounts — so “add my flight details” actually fills them in.
Don’t like an edit? Tell Finn to revert it, or just type over it. The note is always plain, editable text underneath.
Finn understands plain instructions about the page in front of you.
Finn Actions watches them in the background, and Finn Chat reasons across them. They’re all the same notebook.
A notebook with a mind of its own.
