Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Finn iOS application and the website at finntech.app (together, the "Service"). Finn is a product of Raliworks LLC ("Raliworks", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Finn is

Finn is a personal organizer for iPhone with an automated assistant. It brings together several kinds of information you choose to link or enter: financial account data, a monthly bill checklist, notes, and email and calendar context. It displays that information and answers questions about it using an automated language model. The Service is provided for informational and personal-organization purposes only.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.
• You sign in with an email address, an Apple account or a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account, and your device, secure. Anything done through your Finn account is treated as done by you.
• You may only link financial accounts, email accounts and calendars that you own or are authorized to access.

3. Linked accounts and third-party services

Financial institutions. Account linking is provided by Plaid Inc. When you link an institution you authorize Plaid to retrieve information from that institution on your behalf and share it with us, subject to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Access is read-only: the Service cannot move money, place trades or change anything at your institution.

Email and calendar. You may connect a Gmail or Outlook account, and allow Finn to read your device calendar. A connected mailbox grants Finn read access: it may search that mailbox and open the full text of messages in order to answer you or to surface something in Finn Intelligence. It cannot send, reply, delete or otherwise modify anything in the mailbox. These connections are governed by Google's and Microsoft's terms as well as ours, and you may revoke them at any time in the app or with the provider.

Data providers. Market prices, company data and economic series come from third-party providers. They may be delayed, estimated or unavailable, and we do not guarantee their accuracy.

4. Pricing and usage limits

Finn is free to use. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchases. To keep the assistant available to everyone, each account may use up to 5,000 tokens per rolling four-hour window; tokens become available again four hours after they are spent. The current usage is shown in the app's Settings. We may adjust this limit, or introduce paid plans in the future, with notice in the app and an update to these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that violates the rights of others;
• attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
• reverse engineer, scrape, probe or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
• use automated means to access the Service other than through the app itself;
• use the assistant to generate content that is harmful, deceptive or infringing;
• resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the data you link, enter or create, including your notes, your bills and any photos you send Finn. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, the Finn name and branding, is owned by Raliworks LLC and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store terms.

8. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We try to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these Terms; the effective date at the top will change, and continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from Settings in the app or by emailing support@raliworks.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 1, 6, 7, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DATA, CALCULATION OR ANSWER SHOWN IN THE SERVICE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RALIWORKS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR INVESTMENT VALUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS (US$50) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Raliworks LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim you agree to contact us at support@raliworks.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

13. Apple-specific terms

These Terms are between you and Raliworks LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
